Our Pastors

Pastor Joshua Yeung accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and Lord in his teens. Later in his youth, he heeded God’s call to full-time Christian ministry. During his seminary training, our Loving Lord placed a burden in his heart to plant a church in Surrey. Ever since 1997, the Surrey Christian Alliance Church's inception, Joshua resolutely shepherded the church.

Looking forward, Pastor Joshua aspires to serve the Lord steadfastly. His fervent prayers are that more people will fully experience the saving grace of Jesus, as well, that more brothers and sisters will eagerly devote to serve and further God’s Kingdom.

Pastor Peter Deren Yu was born and raised in a Christian family in Guangdong, China. He decided to serve God when he was in middle school. He was called to ministry in 2000 and after graduating from seminary in 2004, he served in churches in China for over a decade. In 2013, he completed his graduate studies at a seminary. He immigrated to Canada in 2014 and served as the pastor of the Mandarin congregation at Fraser Lands church from 2016 to 2018. Since 2024, he has been serving at the Surrey Christian Alliance Church. He hopes that more brothers and sisters will accept discipleship training and become servants of the Lord.
